Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I don’t know why this place isn’t more popular. Very quaint and has a great view from the top floor. It’s wheelchair accessible. They’ve got an echo point (very real) and telescope for city views.

The view is gorgeous from the top level viewing gallery, but there's an unbelievably stupid rule prohibiting visitors from taking pictures (enforced by private security). Makes no sense whatsoever. You can take pictures from the lower viewing gallery, but the panorama is blocked by trees. Extremely disappointing.

Its a viewing gallery which offers great aerial view of the Beach Chowpatty. 1st floor deck is for photography, 2nd floor for long distance binoculars (which can be skipped), photography is not allowed here by the way.
The ground contains the echo point

This is one place not to miss in Mumbai, if you are travelling to Malabar Hill. This four storey high gallery is situated at the highest point on Malabar Hill. Entry is free. It is mostly uncongested. There is a fantastic view of Mumbai, from chowpatty beach, Marine drive, to Colaba. They even have telescopes from which you can have a close up view of distant attractions.

THE VIEWING GALLERY AT MALABAR HILL

If you visit Kamala Nehru park( hanging garden) at Malabar hill, please do visit this magnificent veiwing gallery built by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).It is named after the bhatakya( gypsy) ‘Pramod Navalkar(Rs 8.04 crore project of 5,000 sq ft, )
It offers panoramic view of the Queen’s Necklace to the visitors. The two-storeyed gallery could accommodate 250 people at one time with world class infrastructures.
There is no entry fee and four big binoculars make you see details of marine drive skyline like Trident and Oberoi hotels,Air India building etc.
Its got 3 levels and a lift for the aged and differently abled people.
It looks so posh and it is impeccably well maintained.
A must visit.
Also the Old Woman's Shoe (म्हातारीचा बूट)is renovated with new blue paint and LED lightings along with the garden's new make up.
The gallery is open from 10 am to 8.30 pm every day and entry is fee.

Pramod Navalkar was the man who initiated the cleaning up of the beaches of Mumbai and put in a lot of effort to make this maximum city look beautiful. So I feel this viewing deck has been rightfully named after him.Its new, inaugurated in Oct 2018 and is located just next to the Kamala Nehru Udayan. Its got 3 levels and a lift for the aged, differently abled and those who aren't fit enough. The view is simply awesome..all of the bay and the queen's necklace. Been there during the day time but now I want to go there one evening to see if the view matches my imagination. There is no entry fee and is impeccably maintained.
