Majestic is the word that describes this structure from the British era. With the Oval maidan grounds sprawled out in from and lovely old residential buildings around, this is one of the iconic architectural attractions of the Fort area of south Mumbai.

Very beautiful place, The Bombay High Court building is one of the best examples of Colonial architecture in India, reminiscent of the British rule & era. Quite an quite unique kind of architecture.. mixture of Indian, Islamic, European structural styles, Also see the art on the pillars, the amazing gates, the crafted lions, other animals and the tombs.

Beautiful building but you can only see from the outside (unless you are in trouble). Worth stopping the car for but no more.

This place does not qualify as a visitors place at all, it is a normal working court , the high court of maharashtra . a Victorian building averagely maintained and not renovated or modernized the way it should be

This is a wonderful classic colonnial building which ouzes character from every pore. Augmented by the colourful gardens around it in prime condition. A truly impressive piece of history with all that such entails. Regretably no access to the inside is possible.

Architecture that has been around since the British were in town. I highly recommend taking in a walking tour that allows you to see high court, fort, and caldera.

It is so good to see important buildings having so much engineering and beauty incorporated into the design.

Our stay at Astoria was the high point of our visit. Fighting a case in the high court is not a pleasure. Astoria soothed away the pain.
