Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Parsi Fire Temple is a Zoroastrian temple and entry is restricted to members of the Zoroastrian community. From the outside the building looks like a fusion of Neo-renaissance and Persian architecture which you can see in the columns, balconies and winged sphinxes. It looks okay, but disappointing entry is for Parsis only.

Holy place of the Parsi's (Zoroastrian), very artistically and tastefully built. And this structure is one of the oldest Agiary's in Mumbai. Located in the most populated part of the city it still is extremely serene and peaceful. Filling the surrounding areas with a sense of holiness, divinity and a faint fragrance of sandalwood.
Considered amongst the most beautiful religious monuments still existing in the city. Preserving old-school heritage, culture and architecture. It is included in the city’s heritage list to safeguard these structures (Fire temples marked as Heritage Grade II A and Grade III A structures).
Entry is permitted only for Parsis but for those looking for learning more about the religion or just wanting to see the fire temple from the inside can visit the F.D. Alpaiwalla Museum, ensconced in Khareghat Colony on Hughes Road OR Zoroastrian heritage museum, Udvada

Read up on the fascinating "Parsi" culture that came to India from Iran- Zoroastrians who celebrate the fire God and were persecuted and sought refuge in multi-cult rural and pluralistic India.
Freddy Mercury of Queen, The Tata family who a mega force in Indian business, The Great musical genius, Zubin Mehta are some notoriable "Parsis"..
Make this lesson in history and architectural delight complete by heading over to Bombay's best Parsi food down the street at Brittania...

The Parsi Fire Temple looks beautiful from out side, as only Parsis are allowed inside it was disappointing that we did not get a chance to go inside.
Seeing the outside was also great ,as this building is very famous.

It is a worship place for Parsi only. It is clearly written outside that no person other than Parsi can enter here. I took few photographs from outside.

The temple looks very good from outside. Since non-parsis are not allowed at parsi places of worship, never got a chance to see it from inside.
