Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The only mini south India experience in the City. The restaurants offer best South Indian food here. I would recommend to Take a tour of HopOn India's Matunga & Dadar Parsi Colony Walk & explore more about the culture, food & stories here. #HopOn India Matunga & Dadar Parsi Colony Walk.

This market is located just outside Matunga railway station in Mumbai. Owned by Municipal Corporation,it is named as Shri Lalbahadur Shastri Mandai. This place is famous for buying fruits and vegetables. You get fresh commodities here. There are also shops selling garments and other household goods. This place need to be more hygienic. Locals visit here to buy their daily grocery.

You can get almost anything and everything here - vegetables, spices, apparel, footwear, flowers, puja items, etc. The flower market is a sight for sore eyes! Explore this market in the early morning to experience its true charm. The items don't burn a hole in your pocket but it's great if you can bargain.

The Marunga market may be somewhat chaotic but is a great place to go for fresh vegetables and fruits from vendors who throng the place.

There are many ships storing articles from South India. The many Udipi & other South Indian eateries are a delight and one shouldn't miss having breakfast or meals during the day.

Better to use public transport as parking for own vehicles can be a bit of a problem

Worst place to go to. Haphazard parking - people block the lanes and double and even triple park. Utterly chaotic and filthy.

It is a market and not a tourist place. A person can get almost all types of items here. Fruits and vegetables are also sold here. You can also find good south Indian eateries here.

If you want to experience the real Bombay then this is the place to go! If you thought Mumbai is no more than the financial capital of the worlds fastest growing economy, you will be forced to think again, as you stand here. This is the pot into which melts the thriving community life of Mumbaikars. Mumbai is a dichotomy and there is no better place to make you realise this. I went on the Matunga & Dadar Parsi Colony walking tour by HopOn india, using their App. It was a discovery - a revelation of the true spirit of the city- where culture overtakes the professionalism of the fast urban life and each one works to preserve theirs in their own little way. If you are a photography enthusiast you would not want to miss the flower market at any cost- you have to go there to see it, feel it, smell it and live it! HopOn to Matunga!

A busy local market where one can buy vegetables , flowers and pooja items, daily house hold chore items . It is quite popular with the locals who come here to buy stuff as the prices are not sky high and bargaining can be done quite easily. It remains quite busy most of the time.
