Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Over rated Vax Museum seemed to be much promoted by tourist guides and taxi drivers. Charges were rather high. There were much restriction in taking photos from our own cameras. Statues were not perfect up to the standard. Wanted to check the authenticity of this Museum since seemed to be over charging or less publicity by concerned authorities. .Reaching the Fort itself was hectic. The surroundings were good having scenic, open and beautiful city..

During our Jaipur trip, our cab driver took us straightforward to Jaipur Wax Museum Nahargarh Fort without our knowledge (We mistook if this was the Nahargarh Fort, obviously drivers get commission out of it), so this place is a private, small area and ironically the entry fee per person (even for a child) is 500 whereas Nahargarh Fort entry fee is 50 INR. Moreover, if we take photos inside the museum it would cost 200 per 20 photos, does it a make sense? However we would be happier if the museum would worth of it, but unfortunately it's not...our Kolkata many Durga Puja pandals are having similar or more design work (Sheesh Mahal inside the was museum area), simply we wasted our time and money there!
We would recommend you not to visit this at all!

Went here with a lot of expectations but was disappointed. The wax statues are average at best. The Sheesh Mahal was lovely. But the staff keep shooing people away almost like we’re cattle so that’s a major put off.
Importantly, you can’t take pictures.

Overrated wax museum and Shesh mahal. Ticket is a rip off at Rs. 500 and for every photo they charge Rs. 25
Shesh mahal is nothing in front of Amber and City Palace Shesh mahals.
No pics as I learnt of the con after buying the tickets.

Dear Sir,
First of all, thank you for visiting Jaipur Wax Museum, we would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused during your visit.
On your feedback about the entry fee:
In order to maintain the museum and wax figures, we have to use special techniques in order to ensure there is no damage happening while we are cleaning the museum and keeping it fresh. In order to keep the place hygiene, we require funds and as you are visiting the museum and enjoying the clean place, you are contributing to that clean place by buying the minimum 500 Rs. ticket.
On your feedback on photography cost:
It is not the photographs that we are charging for but the service of the photographer who is accompanying you through the whole museum tour and clicking your group's photos.
We hope your next visit would be more enjoyable.

According to me , this property is worthless cause they charge 500 per head & after that if you want some pics then again you have to hire a professional photographer ,at last one whole glass room they called sheesh Mahal it's just for income source and they misguide people that this is best place to see in this fort . Worthless totally 3/10.

Amazing place with a bunch of wax statue of famous personalities. Not a big museum. Number of Statue are less. Photography is not allowed. Charges for photography is quite expensive. I am expecting more than this. But Overall Experience is Good.

It is a good place to visit but there are few things that are not good.
Not very big, you cannot click pictures.
They will provide you a photographer he will click for you & later on you have to buy the soft copies.

This place is a must visit. It gives a glimpse of the Wax museum Madame Tussauds. It covers the Indian icons. Though the area covered is small but still I must say that kids love to watch and pose for photographs with the icons. The written content on the walls, the ambience created with each statue is worth appreciating.

Are there many stairs? If it is a milti storey building, is there a lift? I want to know if there is any provision for people on wheelchair, how accessible is this place for them?
Written 17 August 2017
Wax Museum is on ground Floor and we allow wheelchair movement inside the museum. However, as Sheesh mahal is only Sheesh Mahal in the world which has mirror flooring so we can not allow wheelchairs there.
