I visited Ladli in 2010 and was absolutely impressed with their mission and handcrafts. This was my second visit, and not only have they expanded their mission to empower even larger groups, their handicrafts have also excelled in quality. Make sure you visit this wonderful place!

A group of us visited Ladli to learn about its work with women and street children. It was both humbling and inspiring. There are some 300 children resident with Ladli but this NGO feeds 20,000 children per day! Only 3.5 to 4% of income goes on administration and apart from a little foreign funding, Ladli relies on the funds raised... More

Visited Ladli in 2015 with a group of friends from Singapore. The women produced amazing handmade items and were very friendly.

We visited Ladli today and spent a wonderful couple of hours at the centre, learning about the incredible work they do there to empower children and women through training and up skilling these previous street children. It was an honour to meet the staff, teachers and trainees and purchase some of their beautiful products. This was one of the most... More

This is a beautiful centre for women and children in need of support. I arrived with the gorgeous Katrina and a few others and we got stuck straight in- talking to the children and the women there. I was delighted to meet Tulsi who has spent the majority of her life there and is now happily married with a beautiful... More

This place supports women and children of lower economic class. It is a real authentic experience in Jaipur, so if you have a dilemma between going to another palace or fort to coming here, the second option is more rewarding. You have the chance to speak with the ladies, and hear how this place effected and effects their lives. Also... More

I am not at all new to the charity’s work or poverty situation of India, but still I love visiting this project in Jaipur, which empowers street girls and now poor women as well. It is always uplifting to see girls and women attending craft making skills at Ladli. Now they are no more dependent on an income earned by... More

I came to India for a 3 month period and wanted to do something worthwhile while I was here. I did a lot of research on NGOs, and I-India looked the most promising. From the moment I walked through the door, I knew that I had made the right choice! I worked at the Child Inn (home for boys) and... More

We went to Ladli as part of our Overseas Community Service Project (OCSP) and the 2 weeks spent with them was nothing but amazing. Everyone at Ladli was super friendly and we had a lot of fun interacting with the children, women and staff there. In my opinion, what I-India is doing is simply incredible. By providing the street children... More

Ladli is just one program run by the phenomenal Jaipur NGO called I-India. Although Ladli is a vocational education training program for girls impacted by conditions of poverty - it is so much more than that. This is truly an example of how true family love and a committment to community based problem solving can transform the most difficult problems.... More
