Horrible experience trying to get a refund for the past year. I visited in Spring of 2019. I took 1 cashmere with me and had the rest of my order shipped, over 15 pieces. I've sent numerous emails with no response. I spent over $700 USD and tried to fight the charge with my credit card and since I had taken 1 item with me, there was nothing they could do. Thank goodness our outcome was a full refund, however, the experience was not a happy one. Our guide took us to this place and said we could buy great fabric and have clothes made. I bought a piece of silk and was measured for a long tunic and the rest of the fabric was to be hemmed so I could wear it as a scarf. I asked them to put the boarder down the sides of the tunic and specifically said I did not want the boarder at the hem. When the goods were delivered to the hotel as agreed, the tunic was made with the border at the hem (exactly what I had said I did not want). It wasn't a misunderstanding as it was explained to me that what I asked for couldn't be done and this is how it had to be! The making was awful and the seams would have come apart after a single wear. The piece of fabric had been rough cut and not hemmed so I also had a raw piece of material. I asked for a refund and thankfully was given my money back after I insisted I wouldn't accept the goods. I'm just glad I didn't agree to them leaving the parcel at reception as so many businesses do. This is not a cheap shop. We paid top dollar for the fabric and make and they tried to deliver very poor work. We subsequently got the same thing for half the price somewhere else.…

visited this shop and was shown a vast array of beautiful silks. in life you pay for what you get and the silk scarves i purchased were just stunning and worth every penny. the tour prior of the silk houes was fasicinating and learnt a lot about the processes and methods - so get along to the Krishna Textile and buy up those presents for friends and family.…

Sometimes I think the reviews I read must be of somewhere else; they can't be the place we went to? When we arrived we were shown block printing in progress. My wife was then asked if she wanted to try some and with great patience was shown how to create a four coloured elephant pattern. We then went into the shop and were offered a drink but were told, at the outset, we were under no pressure to buy. We wanted some bed covers, clothes for Divali and a suit. Any over-purchasing was entirely our lack of restraint rather than any pressure from Ali. As we write this the Divali outfit has been beautifully made and delivered to our hotel within four hours. Do not doubt our puzzlement; go seeking friendship, quality and service and you will not be disappointed. HAPPY DIVALI!! …
