Its the landmark, but I would say u can certainly miss going inside to save some time. Few pictures from outside are good enough. The street outside is busy, touristy and costly with no parking facility. It is a beautiful structure no doubt.

this palace is another great building built by the rajput maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799 ,its a tribute to the genius of the architects that they built this to enable the ladies of the palace to watch the happenings in the streets below through its myriad windows ,as also the sunset ,the jantar mantar ,the other palace etc. there... One really does not go in this Palace like other Palaces. Its named Palace of Wind, and the history behind it is the Queens and Ladies from Royal family would sit and see the Royal processions through the windows. And the whole design was made such that wind would pass freely through the windows making the place cool even in... More

Hawa Mahal is inside the Jaipur gate were the only place in Jaipur were lots of traffic issues and dusty place. Other than this area entire Jaipur is clean and tidy. Hawa mahal is a huje building with a lot of windows. The entire building in this aria is coloured the same as the Hawa Mahal

This is nice monument that reminds you of the magnificent art and sculpture of that time and shine that it would bring.. Good view from the road itself.

If you are running short of time, then do not go inside this iconic building. There is nothing exciting rather than seeing street from height of high rise building. The building is no doubt one of most iconic symbol of Jaipur, but there is nothing special maintained about it. It comes just besides your way to Amer from Jaipur or... More

Very nice but quite overratedi thought that I would have seen something phenomenal but it's a building in the middle of the street and if it wasn't 'marketed' well it would have not been noticeable

I was just awestruck by the construction of this unique piece of architecture. Arguably the best wallpaper of Rajasthan, the Hawa Mahal will surely blow your mind. Unique...and an engineers's pride :)
