Enjoyed walking through this palace. Is sort of a museum of its own where you get to read and see artifacts of the past.

Wonderful old complex of palaces, part of which are still lived in by the Maharajah; the nearest India has to a Royal family. Our original visit had been cancelled due to bad weather so our rescheduled visit was curtailed and we only had approx 1 hour here, when really 2 or 3 are needed to do full justice to this... More

If you really want to see a palace, go and see the Mysore palace or the New Palace in Kolhapur. This is absolutely not worth it.

This palace was very nice. The displays of historical items and the glimpse into history was fascinating. I had a guided tour and felt that the attraction was enhanced as I wouldn't have researched prior to my visit here. Worth a visit and I recommend the Palace.

We had a guided walking tour of the Palace, and discovered that the King was actually there when we arrived (his personal flag was flying). The Palace is an well preserved reminder of days gone by and the history of the Kings of Jaipur. The collections and rooms are well worth the visit!
