This lake is situated in the Kanchipuram district in Chennai. Nice place for weekend picnic. Food is available here , but you may not get all your options. You can pack it up from nearby town. Enjoy the beauty of this place in the evening...More

If you are traveling by road from Chennai to Bangalore you would cross this lake just after Poonamalee. To me it looks sad and dry most of the times. Try your luck if you are into bird watching but after the rainy season.

A nice place to take in the calm of the water. The lake is a nice spot for bird watching too. There are quite a few fishermen on the lake during the day especially early morning and they sell their catch in and around there....More
