We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The tour company was on time pick me up to Tiger to try and catch the sun coming up over the Himalayas, but the skies weren’t cooperating.

The young tour guide Jordan and the young driver Nandan continued to shuttle me around Darjeeling for most of the day visiting the “heavy hitters” of tourism in the area.

The team who served me was polite, flexible, eager to please, and spoke sufficient English.

What more could I have asked from the Queen Of The Hills... the view of the magnificent Kanchenjunga from the flight... during the drive and otherwise too! Unforgettable sunrises and sunsets, long lazy walks through green path mushroomed in tall pine trees! The happening hub - The Mall (Chowrasta)... and the lingering taste of fragrant Darjeeling tea! This is one place which always tempts me to keep coming back for more...!!!

I took the morning excursion tour I saw the sunrise at Tiger Hill, visited Batasia Loop, and finally got to Ghum Monastery. I loved this tour because not only did it show me to beautiful places, but it was very well organised the driver and guide were prompt and professional. Tiger Hill is a sight to behold at sunrise, the colours on the mountain as the sun rises up are truly breathtaking! Batasia Loop provides a nice moment to meditate a little as you are surrounded by gorgeous scenic views, and the war memorial puts you into a reflective state! For me the true highlight was the monastery. Ghum monastery is a Tibetan Buddhism temple and so the art and decorations are TRULY magnificent! I couldn’t stop taking pictures, everything is so colourful, so intricate and so old that it makes you feel humble! Ghum monastery is not overfilled with tourists as some of the other monasteries in Darjeeling, maybe because it is more tucked away! But I am truly glad to have seen it, and practically have the place to myself! Wonderful! I highly recommend this tour!
