The zoo is well maintained with a good collection of varied animals. Well worth a visit. If One is interested then would need a minimum of 2-3 hours to cover the entire zoo.

Spread across 60acres and especially known for having the snow leopard, the critically endangered Himalayan wolf and the red panda. They have tried tries maintaining the habitat as naturally as possible. I personally would recommend this place.

Good for kids only. The hidden gem is the museum on great Tenzing Norgay that may make you enter this zoo if you like to know about the person or trekking.

If you interest in mountaineering this a very good place for u to visit, you can find histories of our mountaineers., Zoo is just for name sake.
