The first time I visited this indoor stadium was about 40 years ago when István Jónyer and Antun Stipančić fought it out for the men's crown of the World Table Tennis Championship. A lot has changed since then. It now hosts the annual Travel Tourism Fair which is a big draw among tour loving Bengalees. Other than that, the local Government uses it as a platform to show case it's many initiatives.

There really isn't much to see here but a short walk around the High Court area or the Ganges ghats would surely add to your experience.

This Indoor Stadium hosts a wide range of activities such as sporting events to cultural programmes too. It is a venue for both national and international trade fairs. Anyone will be astonished to see such a big Indoor Stadium so nicely maintained.

We visited to stadium today as tourist fair is going on there. Today is the last day. Here apart from indoor games exhibitions also take place. The cleanliness of toilets outside stadium in the compound is horrible.

This is a pretty big stadium for an indoor-only stadium. A lot of shows, conferences, seminars are arranged. Transport easily available.

Located beside the Ganga River, it is a huge sports arena but, I gather, mostly used for other events like conventions, fairs, etc. I was there for Rotary's 'Literacy & Wash in Schools Presidential Conference'. Impressive interior, excellent acoustics (there was a concert), good air-conditioning. Good seating arrangements. Easy accessibility. But needs better maintenance overall & cleaner washrooms. Very comfortable.
