If you have an interest in the history about the Synagogue, this is worth a visit, if not, you should just take your photos from the outside, and continue your City tour.

Being able to see and feel the oldest synagogue in a country that celebrates Christianity had great meaning for me. The exhibits features videos that are well done and do an excellent job telling their story. My non Jewish friends were equally moved.

Interesting place. Was good to learn about the history of the Jews in the north east. There isn't a lot to actually see though but worth a visit.
