I had long wanted to visit the Ave Maria Grotto and I was not disappointed. Walking the tour, I could not help but be moved by the time, work, detail and imagination Bro. Joseph poured into his work. It is a must see in my opinion.

It was very beautiful & creative to see the Handwork of A Humble Monk that wanted to bring the Many Important Place in the World to us if knowing we would Never get to go to these Locations/Countries to enjoy these Sites. He made them come to be in Minature Sizes go us to see through his eyes.

Best time staying at this beautiful place. Friendly staff was always there to lend you a hand. Great room with wonderful beds. Best of all was the food they served hot or cold.

I so enjoyed the walking tour outside away from frigid air conditioning. It is remarkable what Brother Joseph built using ordinary items in extraordinary ways.

You have to go check this place out... Again, no idea that these places even existed anywhere around us. The staff was excellent and the history is very interesting. Go see it.

We look for interesting stops during our travels and the Grotto did not disappoint. Well worth traveling a few miles from the expressway and the small fee. The sculpture/artwork is amazing. The setting is peaceful and tranquil.

Great visit and worth the time to tour the grounds. The work of Brother Joseph is amazing, even to a non-catholic. The staff and Monks were genuinely kind and generous to all of our group.

Brother Joseph and the other monks have taken every day items (some might say "trash") and created beautiful artwork set on a hillside on the grounds of Saint Bernard Abbey, a monastery over 125 years old. There are replica's of some of the most famous attractions around the world, like the great pyramids and the leaning Tower of Pisa. It... More
