We traveled from out of state and decided to look up this cemetery where numerous relatives are buried. Some very old plots and very old monuments made for its beauty. Sadly, it could use some help in cleanup.

There is a mix of old and new graves sides, of wealthy citiziens, Confederate soldiers dating back to 1800, slaves and jewish people. Some graves are well kept and others nearly dimished. Also saw some deer wandering around the graves there....

Tons of history here. Beautiful monuments, plus a Jewish section. There is a gazebo and park in the front and a picturesque view of the river in the back.

We had some time while we were driving through Eufaula looking at homes to stop and see this old cemetery. Many stately obelisks, monuments, and family plots. Many are cared for well, but a few need TLC. A great view of the Chattahoochee River overlook....More
