If you like seeing how things used to be, this makes a lovely little memory trip in downtown Foley. It's worth an hour or two out of the summer heat. Be sure to stop by Stacy's next door for the soda fountain treats.

When this hospital closed, it was locked and left untouched for many years before being re-opened as a museum. As such it is an incomparable window into the practice of medicine (and nursing) of that time. Much (not all) of the equipment is well-labeled and...More

What a great way to spend an afternoon. Not just for lovers of medical things....The museum is very neatly organized, and the greeter was very knowledgeable about the area and the museum.

We stumbled across this museum after visiting a nearby bookstore. Incredibly fascinating and free! We were so impressed with the history behind this place. Very interesting experience; I highly recommend!

This free tour of a small town hospital from the past with a collection of medical apparatus, some which is now classified as quackery, is fascinating indeed. Allow at least a couple of hours to peruse the various rooms, equipment, and various items of interest....More

I'm sorry I really should have thought to cover this. Unfortunately they don't have an elavator, in fact the early 1900's stairs aren't really friendly either. I'm having a knee replaced in 2 weeks and I must admit I found... More
