Had a great time for several weeks golfing one day each week in a league. The course was in great condition and staff is always friendly there. Only would recommend them having a beverage/snack cart available during the outings. Always enjoy playing this course and sometimes can catch good special rates available. If this course had been manicured just a little more, or the price had been lower and more in line with the conditioning, it might be five stars. Three of us played GlenLakes today and the course was in good shape. Not great, but very good. the fairways are all green and though the greens looked terrible, they rolled true... More

This golf course is not privately owned and since being acquired by members, it has been upgraded and the maintenance has improved remarkably. There are three 9 hole courses and usually the two newer courses are played together. Walking is allowed on one of the 9 hole courses. Priced reasonably.

This course is beautiful. The greens were in fantastic shape. The Vista course is nice, but on the easier side. The Dune course is easily 6 strokes more difficult. Really. I played here twice on vacation and plan to play it two more times. It's super.

Once you get by the senior residents and women, play is relatively fast. Vista / Dunes combo is great... traditional layout then links (that will pummel you). I play 4-5 times on a 18 day vacation, worth every nickel if you use GolfNow HOT DEALS.

Took a small group of Red Hatter ladies out to lunch there and was really disappointed. I made the reservation several weeks in advance, and had about 12 of us there. Lunch was to say the least awful. Service was worse. I ordered a grilled cheese and it was 2 pieces of toast with cheese placed in the middle. It... More

Vista & Dunes are great courses to play. Each are 9 holes. The Lakes is fun especially for beginners. It's got some dog legs, water shots, and a long par 5, also 9 holes. The club house is homey & comfortable. Staff is helpful and friendly. There is TAG golf on Thursday afternoon, a scramble with 4. Only cost $5/person... More

The course itself deserves 5 stars, however the staff member who stopped us after 9 holes to say "there is no way 6 golfers can play together during a round" caused me to rate them with 2 stars. I understand golf is played in foursomes, however it was a Monday afternoon round and there was no other golfers on the... More

As a Golf Course Glen is a Bruce Devilin course with 2 courses, the Dunes, a championship course, it is a link style, hilly course, The Lakes is a 9 hole course, that is an easier course. Very enjoyable, with a few challenges. The club house is nice serving a decent menu. There is normally a club cart serving drinks... More

For challenging golf at a great price there is no better value in lower Alabama. Great fairways and greens!
