A small zoo with large amounts of fun. Kids enjoyed petting kangaroos and lemurs. Big cats? Yep, 6 tigers and 2 lions. I go to Audubon Zoo 3xs a year, this zoo is better.

We wanted to try something a little different and decided to visit the zoo. I had been before, but it has been years. We had a ball!! The zoo is much smaller than your "typical" city zoo, but it is perfectly quaint. The animals are...More

What a nice little place, with a great selection of big cats, smaller animals, common petting zoo types, and some exotics. They have shows where you can pet some animals you won't normally be around like baby alligators, lynx, and such. You can pay to...More

This zoo is so cool. Not a normal zoo where's the animals are so far away. Lots of large cats, 11 ft alligator, lots of monkeys. But it is a really cool experience for the kids to touch the lemurs, kangaroos, and sloths. Worth every...More

Best place to visit in Gif Shores. This staff has such a heart and have worked so hard to keep this place well run and safe for the animals. They have suffered lots of storms and hurricanes and keep taking care of the animals. Great...More

Nice zoo. Not too big that it kills you to take in all the great animals, that appear to be well taken care of. Nice gator exhibit. Extremely nice staff. Needs a bigger sign , you can easily miss the entrance even with gps.

The zoo has lots of animals and you can get up close and personal with them. Admission is very reasonable but can add up if you include experiences like playing with the kangaroos. Still less expensive than larger zoos. I will go back. The tigers...More

I don’t remember a hippo. It’s a smaller to medium size zoo. It’s not super crowded. If you want a major zoo you could go to the New Orleans Zoo which is less than 3 hours from this location . Hope this helped.
