Not just educational but it's entertaining. On a hot summer day come into the air conditioning and explore for hours. The IMAX is always showing something good. Huge gift shop to grab a souvenir of your visit. If you think rockets are big you're right...More

The Center has a ton of really cool exhibits, including a Shuttle, a Saturn rocket, and an Apollo lander. You can get up close to all of these things, and the facility is full of other awesome exhibits. It is also the home to Space...More

We stopped for an afternoon visit and then went back in the AM after an overnight stay in Huntsville as part of our summer vacation. The museum was very enjoyable. We spent most of our time inside as the temperature was near 100 outside. Our...More

This isn't really a museum of interest to anyone other than someone interested in space exploration. The day we visited there were several hundred pre teens attending space camp and another two or three hundred attending space camp graduation. Needless to say, the entire museum...More

I was very disappointed in the way the center has deteriorated over the years. All the plaques outside are so faded and dry rotted that you can not read the information. It seemed to have a lot more Army stuff than in the previous years.

Thank you so much for your feedback and review. We are in the process of updating all of our outdoor signage as part of a two-year process of restoring our exterior exhibits. We hope you'll visit us again in the future!

You should definitely do the NASA tour to see the actual facilities. Movies can be good. Rocket park is good. The museum changes frequently.

I visited the center by myself and used my own scooter. It was easy to get around and the had many hands on science projects to use. It was very informative and loved the movie Earth. Great place for kids. Great value for the money.
