Nice beach, but can get very crowded especially at the weekends.

This is the longest beach in North Goa. It stretches down to Candolim beach. Nice wide beach with lots going on. Water-sports, beach shacks, lots people walking up and down the... read more

its a beautiful beach, where you can go and relax for sometime,if you are going with your family always go early in the morning with childrens. if you are a drinker you can enjoy over there with your mates, otherwise 1 hr is more than enough for a sea view. baga is very much crowded dont go there.

Calungute is beautiful, it's busy with 9km of Sandy beaches and shacks that spread right along so you won't go hungry or thirsty!

Known once as the Queen of Goan beaches.. Calangute today is a raped spot of nature.. abused by almost all. In the aggressive rush of exploiting tourism the local or those that came to Calangute for business exploitation.. did more than that exploiting a beautiful beach leaving it ramshackled and strewn with shacks.. garbage and more. The plea of Keep... More

Unlike Baga, there is more ease and air while strolling/ sitting/ wandering on this location. In retrospect, its more clearer as well as a lot of goo-hallah stays at Baga itself. If you have time in hand, skip this one and head south for better and cleaner ones
