Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is how people make money...with things of attraction. There are big shops creating and selling souvenirs. Now the magnet craze has caught on too.You can get images of Melaka, and other places of Asia. Also you can get images of other places of the world. The food is mix of Chinese and other regions.Just one big festive place. The streets are crowded with people and vehicles. All in all this is a family treat.Have a hat to protect your head and do carry a lot of water. This is a motivation to earn and save more money.

Jonker Street in Melaka is central the UNESCO World Heritage in Melaka. This bustling street is home to interesting shops, a haven for artists and, in my view, the conservation of the international past of Melaka. Globalization is not new. Melaka has been home for numerous visitors (or invaders) ranging from the early Portuguese and Dutch explorers cum colonizers and later those from England. But prior to that it has had visitors ranging from China to India and this amazing history has stood the test of time.
The bustle lessens dramatically by only a short stroll from Jonker Street and these streets are just as alive with temples, artists and traditional villages and just as interesting.

I would like to say this lady boss is very friendly and helpful. She did her best to help my girl to get her compatible pair of clogs. There are not much variety of clog shoes design but some can be customized.

Do not go to Old Town Clog Shoes. Encountered the rudest person in Malacca when I was there on10Aug. I read beforehand that the shop carried some vintage stuff but when I asked this shop lady, she just brushed me off. She even closed the glass door of the display cabinets containing wooden clogs when I was looking at them, Two old men who were at the back at the shops however were eager to show me the old items and we made a deal on an old charcoal iron. The lady continued to be rude even when I was about to pay which was the last straw for me. Although the old men and I had struck a deal on the price of the old iron, I decided not to go ahead with the purchase. I told her that was because she was rude. She pretended not to understand English and asked me in Malay what I meant. But for somebody who could not understand what I was saying, she suddenly became very nice and was all smiles. When I walked out of the shop, she even cautioned me about the uneven steps. I couldn't find the Malay word for rude on that day but if you are reading this Ms Rude Lady, I would like to say "awak biadap".

Was walking a long Jonkers and bump into Old Town Clog Shoes. Daughet wanted to get a clog shoe. The owners are there and made the shoes for her with customisation. Prices are very reasonable as well.
Hard to get good old authentic shops with rich in its history.
