You can enjoy all drawing/painting on the building during if you take daytime cruise. Light is beautiful at night time and much cooler

Beautiful place to walk and relax, extremely peaceful. Appears well looked after and clean. There’s lots of amazing art work all the way along the river. Worth a look.

We took the river cruise. Saw many bridges, art work on buildings, bars along the river walk, kampung Morton, pirate adventure land and even a huge water monitor lizard. The water seem dirty and at places smelled like sewer. Still highly recommend the cruise to...More

This is the jewel of downtown Melaka. They have cleaned up the river somewhat (don’t take a dip though!), and gentrified the banks by repurposing the buildings and adding the pedestrian trail. A quiet and safe place to take an evening stroll, or a morning...More

Interesting location, we can go around the river by boat at a cost of RM 28 for tourists ..more interesting at night, because there are many romantic lights and many restaurants open with views of the river

Excellent river cruise experience. However to get the most out of it, needs to be done in a specific way! 1 - start at the Taman Rempah jetty (up river) as the commentary only plays this way, to the Quayside heritage centre (ie where the...More

We walked up and down a long stretch of the river just counting the number of monitor lizards we could spot. Lots of fish to be seen too. Had the intention of going on the ricer cruise, but the kids were happy enough walking.

A short ride to rest your feet in walking. You can see that the river is polluted with garbage floating. Stinky and needs help. Within the ride you can see the buildings besides the river with murals you will pass by under different kinds of...More

Worth a try. Going for the cruise in the daytime will enable you to see the murals done on some of the buildings. Taking the cruise at night will allow you to enjoy the beautiful city lights.

Not recommended stay near river due to noisy at nite from crowd choose close to convinience especially cafe and food stall to ease our needs at all time
