Lots of bars on this street, but some good restaurants here too, with some very good food. Not necessarily a place you'd want to be after dark, because I imagine the crowds get drunk and rowdy, but nice during the day time.

Dauphin Street is where all the action is. Go for predinner drinks at Haberdasher or get a dozen Oysters at happy hour at Wintzells. Dinner can be nice at Chucks Fish, Southern National, or Dumbwaiter or just casual at Loda Biergarten, Roosters, or The Bicycle...More

I walked the strip to view the stores and restaurants. There are a numerous amount of them and I loved the walk. I explained to my husband that we need to go back just to eat at some of the spots.

Was just walking on the street trying to find a dinner place. This street has some good restaurants! The lighting was cute! One whole block had the beautiful lighting on the roof ! It looked really pretty!
