We walked up and down Dauphin Street on a Saturday afternoon, loved all the sights! Had homemade ice cream at The Three George’s, it was delicious. All their candies looked divine! Walked through a little antique shop off Dauphin, very nice!

We had a lovely stroll down dauphin street before our duck tour (which I highly recommend). Some lovely stores and a scenic walk. Be sure to visit the peanut store, some of the best peanuts I’ve had!

This is a great street in Downtown Mobile. Clean and safe; great for the entire family. One of many great historic streets in Mobile to walk down.

Lots of places to get a drink or a bit to eat. NO LO themed without the feel of the Quarter. Kind of dead on Sunday when we visited, best time for me! Will return next visit.

I had a bite to eat, before retiring for the night. Little did I know that there would be a bicycle parade with lights intertwined in the spokes going down Dauphin Street. Beautiful and super intertaining. Loved it, I plan to go back to stay...More

I walked down Dauphin Street. I did not find the shops engaging or even inviting. It was not the experience that I was expecting.

Not bad. Seemed safe. Park was nice and very shady. Went to bar hop and were able to do so. Not Bourbon St. by size, but much, much cleaner and safer feeling. Looks like they are headed in the right direction for an Entertainment District...More

After our lunch and duck boat tour, my wife and I went to Dauphin Street mainly to look for the Moon Pie store. While it is not the New Orleans French Quarter, it is a place with neat shops, historical venues, and PLENTY of place...More

Like Bourbon Street, but cleaner and less crowded. We felt completely safe here. Many shops were closed at night. Wish they had been open

Google Mobile Mardi Gras schedule and you should get a lot of useful information about times, routes and good locations to watch the parades. Enjoy
