Small town orchestra, music and presentation or pieces comparable to a college orchestra. Not very impressive.

When I saw our Mobile Symphony was going to perform Beethoven's famous 9th Symphony, I was filled with both excitement and trepidation. Such an ambitious piece is a challenge for more accomplished cities like Nashville or Atlanta, but little Mobile? Whose symphony group was about...More

The orchestra always provides great performances both Classical ant Pop genre. Performs at the Saneger Theater off Dauphin St just blocks from major hotels & in the center of Dauphin Street entertainment area. Warrants a drive down from Central Alabama several times a year.

Mobile Symphony is always a great show. They are very professional, not a rinky-dink orchestra and their director always chooses a great program. Always worth the money and it's not expensive.

You will not hear a higher quality product than that of the Mobile Symphony Orchestra. I would stand the MSO up against any larger metro orchestras out there.
