I like to bring visitors to the Civil Rights Memorial Center because of the history and the nice layout... it's easy take in all of the information because it's presented in an interesting way. Everyone enjoys writing their name on the huge wall at the end. Also the fountain in front is very neat

This is an amazing memorial to those who valiantly fought for civil rights in America. The film presentation is moving and make sure to add your name to the wall of tolerance. The water memorial out front may bring you to tears.

I had a short amount of time to spare so I didn't watch the film. The center is small but at only $2 for a ticket, its worth it. Great lesson in history and memorial to all those who died for the cause.

There was so much history in this small museum. The best part for us was the video that gave an overview of the museum. Also, I loved being able to write my name on the digital screen (I can't remember the name for it).

The Civil Rights Memorial Center is a must see for any travelers to or passing through the area. It is a very solemn center showing the struggles that many people faced in America's history. The whole center is remarkably well done, especially the fountain in the front.

The film that is shown here explains the outside memorial which is excellent. The other exhibits put the civil rights movement into a modern perspective honoring those lesser known individuals who have lost their lives due to discrimination and bigotry. If you visit here have one of the individuals working there explain all the great work being done by the... More

Every aspect of the Civil Rights Memorial Center was compelling. When you arrive, you will notice the high level of security required to protect this building, which is a reminder that the struggle against hate is still real. The memorial outside is beautiful and peaceful in a manner similar to the Vietnam Memorial in Washington DC. Take a few moments... More

This exhibit is heavy with the grief and sacrifice of the men and women who stood up for dignity and equality. The film is well done and should not be missed. Watching it you will appreciate the full significance of the Maya Lin fountain in front of the building. Allow approximately an hour.
