Great fun for all handicaps

The Judge course is a fun, picturesque course on the Robert Trent Jones Trail in Prattville, AL. Greens are in great shape, but very hard to get birdies.

After playing a disappointingly slow almost 5 1/2 hour round at Ross Bridge, playing at the Capitol was fabulous! The bag drop men were welcoming, charming and couldn't be more helpful. The pros shop attendants were professional. And the Judge Course was amazingly beautiful. The pace of play was leisurely, yet it moved along well. It took 4-1/4 hours to... More

As usual, the golf assistants greet you with smiling faces, as they set your group up for a day of golf with friends. The Legislator course was in great shape. Course marshalls did little to get slow group to speed up. Normal course cart girl and bar service. Good, as usual.

The Judge is a " must do" on any RTJ Trail golf excursion. Hole #1 is the most scenic and photographed hole on trail. Jaw dropping beauty!! New photo opportunities around every turn. The greens this week were killers. At least a 13 on Stimp meter. PGA Tour speed. Like putting on mirrors. Made for very frustrating scores. Good fun... More

Ok really if you golf at all you need to visit any or all of the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail locations. All are public, great and this one has 3 diverse courses. Do your research and hit up a couple while you are traveling thru Alabama. This is investing back into your state at its finest!!!

If you have the chance to play these three courses - The Judge (with an amazing 1st tee); The Legislator and The Senator ( a true links course) - play all three! The staff at Capital Hill is outstanding!

On the way to the Gulf for the Fourth of July weekend and decided to stop in Prattville to breakup the trip. I planned on playing the renowned Judge Course, but was properly warned that the greens had recently been punched. The Senator course, which hosts the LPGA tour was booked heavy, so I decided to try the Legislator course.... More

Really enjoyed these courses. Some really tough holes and greens and a beautiful layout. The Legislator greens were in rough shape due to some fungus but the other two were in good condition. The Judge was my favorite of all but very difficult. The staff was great as well. I would return in a heartbeat.

Thank sparksjr
