We stopped by M50 with our young daughters and visiting family, from the US, and actually stayed the whole afternoon. Cool place to have a coffee or drinks and we also had some sweets from one of the coffee shops, not crowded on a weekday,...More

We spent a pleasant morning wandering from stall to stall discovering many different mediums and creative expressions! Many fun photo opportunities as evidenced by many who appeared to have come solely for that purpose! We had a nice break for tea as we planned the...More

This is an area that used to be a textile factory that has been converted into an area of art galleries. If you have time and enjoy art, this is fun. There are a couple of places to eat or get a cup of coffee...More

Would come here only if you‘re very interested in arts in general or if you have a lot of time in the city. Otherwise we thought it is too less for the time you invest. It seems to be easiest to get there from the...More

this place was excellent. A series of warehouses filled with contemporary ART and artist studios. I LOVED this place. If you like art go here. Affordable collectible pieces and great for the soul. An excellent way to spend half a day in Shanghai

A collection of galleries with a few painters studios dotted about. Slightly off the beaten track. The high prices of the artworks exhibited will mean it’s not everyone’s cup of tea.

The M50 Art Park is a terrific collection of artist shops and studios, offering a good chance to find excellent copper and brass work, porcelain, calligraphy, paintings, etc. We find some great hand-painted kitchen art, and if we had more time and money we'd also...More

Not a traditional site. You'll find both graffiti, modern art, and a little bit of traditional art in this area of converted industrial buildings. It's a fun spot. We also purchased a few cool souvenirs.

at least on the day I was there. There appear to be more vacant spaces than galleries. In addition, I went on a Friday afternoon and the vast majority of of the few galleries they have were closed. It looks like the area is in...More

As others have said, yes. It's about 10-15 minutes from the Central Train Station. It's a nice walk over the Suzhou river.

Agreed, no ticket needed. But you have to get there, and it's a bit out of the way, so there's a time investment, even if there's no fee.
