Great railway station, well signed and accessible. Plenty of food and drink outlets. Arrive early as it's very busy.

I am a frequent traveler to China and when at all possible, will take the high speed train over airplanes, especially during foggy season in Fall. Air flights are notoriously late in China due to high volume of travellers and military action (unannounced). The country is connected by high speed railway and tickets can be reserved, seating is clean and... More

I came to this Station from Wenzhou, coming from Ruian City. I wasted my flight to Shanghai just to have an experience of this high speed train and i must say it was worth it. Amongst the best in world.

This has to be the largest train station we have ever used. We can only speak about arriving here. We arrived from Hangzhou and walked what seemed like a gazillion steps before we could find the proper door for taxi queues for where we wanted to go. The station is so huge that you must know where you want to... More

I spend a lot of time in Shanghai, and travel by high-speed train from Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station often. This station is modern and easy to navigate as a non-Chinese speaker traveling alone. Lot's of familiar fast-food restaurants if you want to pick up a quick breakfast or lunch prior to departure.

Very efficiently run railway station. Collected the ticket for the G2 train to Beijing and boarded the train with no difficulty. Extremely helpful staff and fellow passengers. (Though we had been provided with a few translated stock sentences) 5 star service. Would use it again if ever I visit China.

a cavernous train station adjoins the airport, inside it is warm and airy, clean and tidy, great signage in Chinese and English.. as a frequent user of the UK train system, the Chinese put us to shame

It's a busy train station but well run. I would advise arriving 30-40 minutes before your train to pick up your tickets, as the queues can often been too long. So why have I rated in 1 star You cannot order your ticket online with a foreign credit card But the primary reason - the taxi queue can be well... More

Very big and crowded station indeed! At the same time it's well organized and clean. Great place to take pictures from is the second floor (close to McDonalds). Try to buy drinks/snacks somewhere beforehand as prices bite (usual thing for railway station though).
