I wouldn't recommend making your way to Longyang Station specially for this museum. It's a good space to spend not more than an hour here before you catch your train. The information is displayed in Mandarin and English.

Bought a Maglev ticket at 2:30 and wanted to wait until the 430km/h train at 3pm. This museum filled the time well. Was amusing to see such a basic and low-tech museum to describe high-tech train! Most exhibits were broken, with instructions to press switches...More

Visited the museum whilst waiting for the Maglev train, which doesn't start travelling at high speed until 3 pm. Interesting displays showing how the train travels along.

If you are interested to find out more about your journey and the technology behind the world's fastest train, then take a visit. It is either free or reduced entry if you show your maglev journey ticket...so ask to retain it at the barrier.

Shanghai has an amazingly fast train, quite a nice experience, the only negative is the shoddy interior - feels like taking a train in an outer province just going much faster

Young children love it. They enjoy the museum and train trip to airport. They explain train history including pictures of old trains and new ones.

There isn't really any limit to the amount of luggage, when we caught the train there was plenty of room. There is a small luggage area near the doors, otherwise your backs should fit near your seat. I think the max weight... More
