“Expensive psychedelic trip under the river ”
A pedestrian-only tunnel crossing the Bund, this fun and unique form of public transportation is a pricey but quick way to get across the river on foot. The experience is a bit reminiscent of a Disney Tomorrowland attraction.

This tunnel is definitely worth doing. (one time). It is a little cheesy for adults. It is a slow paced, light and color filled experience under the Bund to get from side to side. For children, I am sure this is a great time. I...More

To cross the river using this tunnel costs 50 yuan compared to 2 yuan on the ferry. At least with the tunnel you get a light show and you are in a small cable like car that accommodates about 8 people. It is a short...More

It it overpriced and looks outdated. For the same price you can ride the fastest train in the world (Maglev). I expected modern effects considering it's Shanghai and you're going to see all these modern tall buildings. It is a fast way but expnsive way...More

We read the reviews and talk to people who said it was a rip off. But we went anyways as we needed to get to other side and were very tired. We actually liked because it was hokey so we had a lot of fun...More

It is an expensive trip that is a tourist gimic. On taking the escalator down you pay your 50 yuan for the ride but before you get to the driverless cart you are photographed in front of a green screen. For this you get 8...More

First time were here almost 15 years ago. Unfortunately, since then, no improvement achieved. In the world of modern technologies, this place doesn't offer anything special.

We went recently not knowing what to expect, and I have to say it was fun for about 30 seconds to maybe a minute, and it's probably the quickest way to get from The Bund to Pudong, but the price really didn't make it worth...More

If you ever had a chance to ride the People Mover at Disney in the 70's and 80's, this will bring back memories. If you take it from the Puxi side, you can get a ticket to the Pudong side and also purchase a ticket...More

Whilst a good way to cross the river (but costly), going down the escalators to the tunnel was like going backwards in time to the 70's when darkness and static lights were a "cool" attraction. The ride across is in a little cabin, with the...More

We opted for this attraction to cross from Pudong to the Bund because it would land us right on the promenade. 10 minute walk to the tunnel from the Pearl Tower ticket booth. Apparently prices have gone up. A basic one-way ticket across the river...More
