This was a well spent day in Shanghai and full of fun thanks to our young enthusiastic guide Melissa. Melissa was at the hotel early in hopes of getting an earlier start as it would be busy with the National Holiday in full swing. She...More
the tour is definitely worth checking out. we started in the morning in order to try famous shanghai breakfast, which is kind of a thin pancake that is loved by all locals. Our guide Melissa was amazing: very knowledgeable and has good english. then she...More
UNESCO world heritage Watertown site is a must-see but a very long distance from Shanghai. With traffic, it took between 1.5-2 hours. Not ideal if the goal is to see as much as possible.
4-hr walking tour of Shanghai city centre very enjoyable.
Had the best 3 hours walking around some unknown delights on this tour. Was taken to my two new favourite Shanghai noodle and Xiaolongbao restaurants and given some insights into old Shanghai that I never knew. Highlight recommend this tour! 5 stars
Melissa was my guide for the tour. She was knowledgeable and able to answer the many questions I had about life in some of the old parts of Shanghai. Her great sense of humour made the whole tour fun as I was the only guest....More

Huangshan is stunningly beautiful. However, if you want to catch the sunrise on camera do not listen to your guide. Just go early. Otherwise you will not get a good spot. The mountain is crowded and really busy.
The 4-star hotel does not deserve 4...More
I also booked a private car thinking that I would get first class service. I was also told that Taxi's at the port are limited. Both very wrong.
There are in fact so many taxi's it's nuts! There must be over 800 the day our...More
West of Shanghai’s better-known business, cultural and entertainment centers, lies an expansive area of residential neighborhoods peppered with lifestyle pockets that have their own unique attractions. The schools have formed pockets of international communities throughout Gubei, Hongqiao and Minhang. Quite a few entertainment and shopping centers have built up over the years to cater to these communities.
While living here means you are relatively far away from Shanghai’s usual hot spots, the large parks, spacious homes and proximity to great Japanese and Korean food keep the neighborhoods popular.
