We went to the Baldi Hot Springs in May, so in the beginning of the rainy season and during the afternoon. We booked it including dinner. The springs were really relaxing and there were almost no people around. The slides were great as well, although...More

We really enjoyed our evening visit (Mum, Dad and an 11 year old). It was busy but not too crowded as there are so many pools to choose from. We made it our mission to try each pool, slide, waterfall and sauna, and were amply...More

I really like the place, it has a variety of atmospheres. The prices of the bar and restaurant are a bit expensive, but worth the visit

Baldi Hot Springs has an amusement park kind of feeling to it (not in a bad way...I love amusement parks). The lobby is beautiful and the hot springs are exquisite. The Reservationist informed us that they only had a Suite available but at a discounted...More

I went here in the evening and had dinner. Everything was around $40. It was so fun going from pool to pool and relaxing. There are three water slides, which are incredibly fast - so only for the brave (45kph!) Dinner was a nice buffet,...More

Hot Springs, Spa and amazing water slides. Multiple pools with varying temperatures. Waterfalls provide massage with heat.

I expected a... big hot spring. What we found was a whole host of pools, of varying temperatures, waterfalls, beautiful foliage, and bars scattered throughout, where you just wade up and order your favorite beverage. What an experience!

I am wondering if the waterslides are safe now? It seems like 5-7 years back there were quite a few injuries. We are taking our 9 and 11 year old children and I want to be sure we don't let them do something that is a known hazard. Thanks in advance.

Our group went down all the slides and they were very safe, and lots of fun. Just use your general judgement - don't do anything you would not do on a slide back home!

I don't think so as we couldn't smell any chlorine, and our skin felt wonderful for days after we visited the springs. One of our favourite parts of the trip!

Hello, how much does it cost for round trip taxi from the hotel to main attractions such as the waterfall and volcano?

Baldi is at the base of the volcano. Not sure if you can get much closer. As for the price of taxi's, I don't have an exact figure, but they are very reasonable. I'd get quotes if I were you.
