This is a must if you are in the La Fortuna area. We spent an entire morning here with a guide. We saw howler monkeys, sloths, assorted birds, and even an ant eater, which our guide said he hadn't seen in two years.

We did this tour with Green Path Tours. This was interesting simply because it is around the Arenal Volcano and it is a transitional forest. It has an incredible amount of biodiversity. The 2 bridges we went across were 150ft and 230ft above a valley....More

The hike in the rain forest and the walk over the hanging bridges were nice. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The amount of time you have to spend on the tour is decent and you really get to see Costa Rica from its...More

Very nice hike through the "jungle" with a good path throughout the park. Bridges are fun to cross, but sadly, no wildlife to speak of.

I did not go on this tour, however, my family did and they indicated they had a wonderful time not only seeing all the different animals, but ziplining.... :)

We visited this as part of a tour (Caravan). We were given a local guide, Augustus. He pointed out a lot of animals to us that we would not have seen on our own (green snake, black snake, sloth, red dart frogs and a toucan)....More

Great hiking and lots of fun looking for Sloths and other wildlife. Cruising the bridges is fun and has wonderful views. A must do place.

We got lucky and had a small group. Just our family and the guide. Guide brought a cool telescope along and making photos with a mobile thru the telescope works surprisingly well. Cool thing with hanging bridges is to see the big trees very close...More

A great natural park which our tour operator had booked via arenal adventures so we have a private guide. It can apparently get busy with bus tours and this slows considerably - but we were ahead of these which meant the tour took just under...More

The hike around hanging bridges is not strenuous. It is a fairly easy walk. You are there mostly for the sights and not the physical activity.
