In addition to the cabinas, we offer a wide range of activities. We are specialized in fun mountain biking tours and adventures ranging from a 2 hour tour, to a week off the beaten track in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. We ride single track and small remote back country roads. The Bike House can be for single travellers as well as for groups and families. The House has four 24 inches Trek mountain bikes for children. We provide a great tours to a large butterfly farm, trips to the hidden petroglyphs of Bahia Salinas by bike and river tubing with our NRS tubes on a jungle river. The Bike House is your one stop fun adventure that will show you a side of Costa Rica that no many people get to experience. We at The Bike House provide safe adventures in beautiful remote settings.

I was looking to do a bit of mountain biking on our last trip to Costa Rica but it had to be something my less bike oriented significant other could also enjoy. I contacted Carolle and made the arrangements. Definitely made the best decision, Carolle was an awesome guide and very accommodating as well as fun to talk to, my wife and I had a great time.
Highly recommend including food with your stay, Bike House is a bit remote and it isn't easy to just head out and grab food.

The Bike House Costa Rica, The "BEST" Carole is a "Rock Star"! She makes you part of her family and takes care of you like no other.  Â

For the first leg of our Costa Rica visit, we booked a 2 plus day bike, eat, and stay with Carole at The Bike House. Travel from Liberia airport to the La Cruz area was straight forward and simple, minus a small mishap in town with rental car and a motorcycle. After meeting Carole and getting settled in our cabina, she refer us to a local resturant which had delicious fresh red snapper. The bike trails on both days were challenging, fun and beautiful. Carole provided great equipment and also tips for improving my wife's technique while riding. Before and after our rides she made great traditional meals for us to enjoy. More food than we could ever eat! Also just hanging out at the house was so relaxing and just what we needed after our rides. On our last morning there she took us on a hike to the new trail she is developing. It is going to be amazing! She has such a passion and a vision of what she is building and wants to provide for her guests. She loves what she does and where she lives. She loves sharing that with others. Carole also provided some ideas for legs 2 and 3 of our adventures after we left The Bike House. We so enjoyed the ideas she gave us. We would definitely return and spend more than just 2 days here. Best "All Inclusive" in Costa Rica. X Stars!

Thank you soo much Kim, when on a mountain bike nothing goes wrong... except in calf deep mud loosing a shoe!! How much fun did we have! Hope to see you soon!

Interesting ride in the back roads among the mountains. Enjoyed seeing the pteroglyph and drinking costa rican coffee.

We did the 2 day bike and stay adventure with Carole and had an amazing time. I loved how each mtb tour was paired with a special surprise either getting to visit a traditional Costa Rican homestead or stopping by a waterfall with the opportunity to jump in to cool off. Amazing host and relaxed atmosphere. Great option to stay active when the wind isn't kiteable.

We had a great stay at Carole her Bikehouse. We got a sneak peak in Carole her adventures life at Baya Salinas. It is not only a great area to explore by bike in terms of nature, but Carol also gives you a glimpse in the local life's of the people. We visited a farmer family that has land between the ancient petroglyphs and they invited us for lunch. We got a freshly got fish from a local fisherman in the baya. We felt very welcome in the Bikehouse.

We had a great stay at the Bike House. Carole makes a great included breakfast and you can purchase dinner if you like, which makes it so convenient. We did a couple excursions with Carole on the mountain bikes and she provides some top of the line La Pierre full suspension bikes and she is a wonderful guide. There is a lot of different location to ride within the area. We plan to return again and again to enjoy the Bahia Salinas area. I am already missing these great Hammocks on the porch !!

I think everywhere in Costa Rica you will find beautiful places... stay away from bigger commercial area... the south, corcovado is beautiful. Manuel Antonio... soo many places..
