At first I thought we had come to the wrong place. Very rustic with rutted dirt roads but this place really grew on me. I liked our cabin and their grotto with pool and bar. Pool fountains were not working. Oh so relaxing to hear and see songbirds fly by. At night we heard such strange calls we had to... More

This is very good 5 hours activity. You can have zip line, horseback riding, rafting, hot springs and a great lunch during the same day. My family experience was very good except for the horseback riding. We were wearing bathing suits and sandals (as this activity is done prior to the rafting) and we all got badly hurt on the... We just came back from Tamarindo and spent an afternoon zip lining and white water kayaking at Rincon de la Vieja Mountain Lodge Canopy Tour. I hate heights and loved zip-lining! The view is incredible. The guides were very helpful and made it seem like it was the most natural thing in the world to do! They even kept snapping... More

Challenging experience! Ziplines were fun - my wife enjoyed these ziplines more than the Congo Trail (I felt the opposite). Family Friendly ziplines over a nice canyon! The repelling was fun, the rock climbing was challenging for a guy with no upper body strength, but it was a fun accomplishment! The river kayaking was a blast! The horseback ride was... More

Zip lining canopy tour, rappelling, horseback riding, whitewater kayaking/tubing, a buffet lunch of authentic Costa Rican food, mud bath and hot springs...all for $85 per person! The name of the place is Canyon de la Vieja Lodge. We booked our tour through Sol Eco Adventures. Tom Sol is the owner/operator of his company and offers his own kayaking tours, but... More

My family and I had a great experience on our adventure. We started out by going on a cool horseback ride through an open field with lots of land. It was about 45 minutes long and really easy. After that they had a buffet where they had good food to prepare us for our kayaking trip down the river. They had... More

We got the most our of this tour in a small group with a Costa Rica Best Tours guide Jose Acevedo. Loved all of it from horseback riding, hot springs/spa, canopy, waterfall, water slide, to the fantastic lunch at the lodge.

We had an amazing time at the Rincon Volcano. We zip-lined, walked across hanging bridges, bathed in volcanic mud, swam in volcanic hot springs, horseback rode to a gorgeous waterfall and had a really good lunch with our tour guide at the hotel there. It was a memorable time and I highly recommend people going! Book through tour guides who... More
