A special experience-- a private tour through primary forest that includes seeing the site's namesake GIANT tree, over 700 yrs old. It's beautiful and serene and also includes area for some wildlife that cannot be released but lives in wild enclosures (due to blindness or...More

If you're a nature lover this is a must-see. Night tours of the rainforest come with a delicious dinner and friendly travelers. Make sure you bring a poncho or rain jacket since it is in the rainforest after all.

This was a very great learning experience and a nice walk, but not strenuous. We saw howler monkeys and various frogs. I had hoped to see a few more animals, but it was very worthwhile

Easy walking trails but not accessible as there are stairs and a narrow bridge. Under canopy so little worries about sunscreen but do take insect repellent. Saw howler monkeys, a two toed sloth, and beautiful flowers. This is where the jaguar rescue center releases their...More

The night tour was very cool with an amazing guide! The cottages are open to nature, but somehow did not seem to be a magnet for insects. Beautiful and rustic, but also with nice kitchen amenities. The pre-release area for rehabilitated wildlife is also incredible!

You can only see the animals and understand the work being done if you go on the guided tour. Check the website for current times.

The night tour was a fantastic experience that I would recommend for everyone!! I am not usually an outdoorsy person so being one with nature usually does not appeal to me especially if it is night time and the only thing keeping me from walking...More
