This tour was so interesting. The guide took his time showing us the animals and sharing information. We got so close to the animals. Even met the owner. Would highly recommend. The baby sloths and monkeys were the highlight for me.

This animal center is incredible. They help injured and abandoned animals get back to their life in the wilderness. Highly recommend visiting, and if you want to help, bring some powdered goat milk from your home country.

Yes, there are some covered areas, it is warm. Rains I have read come and go, they have little rain ponchos in the shop. I would do if it rained.

Not sure how much a taxi would cost from Limon but would pre-book a taxi back as there’s not much around the jaguar centre as it’s about 20 mins walk from Puerto Viejo town centre.

Our options were 930am and 1130am. I think this is when the animals are the most active. The staff volunteers for these tours so I’m assuming they spend the early morning and afternoon getting their actual work done.
