What a wonderful tour. The owner, Paul Johnson, was our leader and he was so knowledgeable about everything to do with cacao from growing, to processing to eating. We sat in a beautiful lanai overlooking the Caribbean eating wonderful chocolate. Don't miss this tour.

We attended the chocolate forest tour with owner Paul. He was very enthusiastic about balancing nature, a good product, and people, with making a living. The view from the chocolate tasting space is fantastic. We really enjoyed seeing the gadgets and homemade equipment in the "factory". A great experience for foodies and those with an interest in sustainability. We had... More

We took the Caribeans tour of the Chocolate Forest and learned all about the process of making chocolate. We not only loved the education and experience, but also were glad to support the local CR Cacao farmers and employees, as Caribeans focuses on providing their farmers a generous wage. This is a great way to spend a couple hours and... More

Caribeans was one of the best tours I have ever done. The owners are incredible. Everything they believe in for the artisan chocolate movement and for the local community is inspiring. The tour itself was a great experience - extremely educational and fun which included hands on activities and breathtaking views of the Caribbean coast line. Their chocolate is the... More

We visited this place a as "fill in" one day and are so glad we did. The two hour tour turned out to be nearer three and our interest and attention was kept for all that time. Paul, owner and guide, was very enthusiastic and passionate about producing local chocolate and involving local people in the process. We were shown... More
