The black sand is almost like flour and completely black, go check out the old rusty bark where locals go fishing or jump in your bathing gears and go body surfing! To be honest, there is world class beaches just walking distance away =)

Overall, weather didn't really allow to enjoy the beach. Also, we noticed that the available part of sandy beach is very limited, and waves are rather large so not inviting for normal beach use, but sure that surfers like it.

The beach is small but there are some good drinking holes along the way. I did see people swimming in the water but I also heard from a local the beach acts as the sewer overflow so not exactly the kind of place I would...More

This beach is clean and private. Good for lounging on the sand. Not so great for water activities. Strong current and undertow. Ok for bodysurfing.
