We took an Uber from the Los Sueños Marriott to the Puddle Fish Brewery. The Uber was $10 each way for the four of us. The hike up was steep at points but was not too bad, about an hour round trip. It was quite hot in the afternoon when we went, glad we had water. The hike was well worth the views both along the way and at the abandoned structure. After the hike we went across the street for some cold beer. Both beer and food were great at Puddle Fish!

Friends and I decided to go up as a different spot to share the sunset in Jaco. We had gone to the beach the evening before. We decided rto adventure up to El Miro, it took us about 20mins to walk up.. I didn't find the hike that bad. There is shade and the views are beautiful. There were around 10 people there when we made it up but everyone kept to themselves. We hiked down in the dark and even had a wild pecary pig come out of the bush at us!

I rode my bike from Room2rent Hostle to the entrance leading to El Miro. I enjoyed the hike up the trail on a beautiful sunny day. The views were amazing overlooking Jaco and the Pacific Ocean. I could only imagine what it must have been like in its hey day.
