Jaco is a great beach town for travelers looking to surf and/or party. The waves are good, the beach is clean and there is a lot to do in the town, especially at night. The town can get pretty crazy though, and you'll want to...More

Just gorgeous, clean, not overly busy. Just big enough. Water warm, they offer surf lessons on the beach. They have a tiki bar that has good food. Not over yet busy either.

Spent one day here for the beach. Nice safe clean. Not the best beach in the country but worth a visit.

My husband, two grown sons, and I have been on several trips to coastal locations in other countries. This was one of the best. We felt safe, weren't hassled, locals were friendly, lots of activities, could walk everywhere or take an inexpensive cab ride, ate...More
