We were fortunate to be able to visit Playa Manuel Antonio during our excellent tour of Costa Rica with Caravan Tours. We had a tour of the park and ended at the beach. It is a wonderful way to cool off. The beach is very clean and secluded. The Pacific Ocean is not too deep near the shore and there... More

Pristine beach! The sand is white and soft and the water is clear with few waves. Wonderful way to spend an afternoon. Opportunity to see animals too!

It's a long walk to the beach through the national park ($16.00 entrance fee per person) but it's totally worth it. What out for monkeys and raccoons looking for a hand out!

The manuel antonio beach is absolutely stunningly beautiful! However, we found the park a little overrated. It was packed with people and there really isn't many trails to go down. We saw some wildlife but we saw just as much, if not more, just driving or walking around and at our hotel. It costs $16 per person and you aren't... More

Beautiful beach with restaurants and hotels across the street. Located next to the Manuel Antonio National Park. If you go be prepared to spend $20.00 for a bottle of sunscreen.

Stores across the street and beach activities. Easy to get a spot in the shade and beach chairs and umbrellas for rent.

Start your day off with an amazing hike through very well kept and fairly easily accessible trails and come face to face with all sorts of amazing creatures including various reptiles, monkeys, and sloths. You can finish off your hike by spending an afternoon on the incredible white sand beach and clean water. Lots of facilities for setting up a... More

Wonderful beach with plenty of choices for shade and you have to meet Jimmy who will serve you a fresh coconut with a straw and later will cut the coconut so you can snack on the meat. Healthy and delicious while relaxing on the beach.

We stayed here for a week and this was the most beautiful and chill beach we had seen. It's quieter closer to the surf school at the end of the beach and just a dream to swim in while the sun is setting. Do not pass up a chance to see this beach!

A lot of peddlers selling stuff. But nice size waves for a little fun, and plenty of coconut water passing by to stay hydrated for 1000 collonas
