To be honest after I saw some negative reviews (after I had booked this tour), I was slightly skeptical, but it was an absolutely wonderful night!!! Alex our tour guide was very enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable. He made sure everyone in the group got a chance to see every animal and made an effort to make sure everyone could hear... I must admit that when I boarded a packed bus with at least 24 other people, I was leery and concerned. But when we arrived at Kinkajou they split us up into groups of 10 - 12 and the experience was excellent. Where I would have liked smaller groups, it was manageable. If you were at the end of the... It's difficult to give people a garanty for seeing animals but it's fun to walk around when it's dry. Don't expect too much but it's a tourist income

It was great we saw sloths just few meters away from us, tukans red eyed frogs taranutula and green snake. The guides are prepared but the groups are in 10, it would be better if it would be 6-8 people cause sometimes we could not hear what the guide talks about.

We enjoyed this walk very much - saw lots of animals. I don't know what people expect but animals don't obey people, so our guide did the best he could (Alex). He made a genuine effort to find things to see - sloths (check!), frogs (check!), snakes (check!), birds including the toucan (check!). It's a decent walk - not difficult... More

We took the first tour of the evening, around 5.30 pm. It was already dark by then and everyone got a flashlight. We saw two green vipers, a tarantula, other cool spiders, some frogs, a two-toed sloth, an armadillo and even a kinkajou which was really great to see. Of course, it's dark and the animals are often in the... More

This was a very well organized tour. They provided flashlights to our group. Our guide Marco was quick in locating any animals and critters as we walked through the forest in the dark. He spotted everything from an armadillo, a kinajou, to scorpions and snakes, and even a sleeping toucan. The sloth in the tree was pretty cool too! There... More

This was a highlight for me, being in the jungle at night was a great experience as the sound was immense and seeing snakes and tucan and frogs made it perfect, photos are quite tricky at night so take a smartphone as they can take pictures through the scope

Nice evening walk at 6 pm. Great way to see insects and sleeping birds perched in trees. Our guide was great at spotting birds and animals, and explaining their nocturnal habits. It is a different experience than a daytime tour.

We followed up our morning tour with a night walk. It was so different in the dark but we managed to see a sloth, spiders, viper, insects and birds. At first there was not much to see but fortunately the guides share locations of the sightings so that other groups also got to see them. It was a little tricky... More
