We used Zuma Tours for a snorkelling tour to Isla Tortuga (Turtle Island). Included in the price was taxis to and from our hotel to Montezuma which was approximately 40 minutes each way. Marlon was our guide and he was very knowledgable and friendly! He gave us tips when we were snorkelling and found more unusual/less common fish and took... More

Our trip to Tortgua island with Zuma tours was absolutely excellent. The guys arranged pick up from our hotel in Santa Teresa and were very friendly and organised. The whole day ran very smoothly. The boat trip was beautiful and the guys had lots of food and drink (and beers!). The lunch served on the beach was very tasty. Overall... More

The staff was amazing and so helpful. The new larger speed boat they just started using in February 2017 is so nice! We stayed at Ivans house and used his Zuma tour company for the tortuga island excursion and the speed boat ferry back to the main land near Jaco. Our experience for all was top notch!

This was the third time I have taken the taxi boat to and from Jaco and Montezuma. The staff take great care to keep your luggage dry, using plastic bags and carrying them to and from the boat. This time we saw dolphins on each trip. In the past I have seen whales and a giant sea turtle. The fast... More

No wonder this company is so highly rated. The staff were very attentive to ensure everyone had a great day. Joelle snorkelled with us and dove down to bring up a puffer fish, starfish, etc before safely returning them. The beachside lunch was delicious. I highly recommend the fish. Great day for all ages from children to seniors.

1. Tortuga island and snorkelling. Lovely day on the boat-really friendly and experienced crew/hosts. Weather was a little windy so although it wasn't the best snorkelling I have ever experienced it didn't detract from the whole day. The time on the island was just right. Lunch was excellent, drinks were frequent(the guides made us cocktails!), beach was pretty and the... More

If you are in Montezuma or anywhere close for 1 day, do the boat tour from Montezuma to Tortuga Island. It was amazing. For $50 per person, they take you by boat to two incredibly snorkeling spots and the beautiful Tortuga Island. On the Island, the chef (who came on the boat with us) cooks fresh chicken, fish, and vegetables... More

Great company, great tour guides who takes customer safety as the highest priority. We booked the boat taxi from Montezuma to Jaco, but encountered bad weather on the day. For our safety, the company decided to take a longer route, but still managed to get us back on time. The Tortuga island tour was also amazing. Great team of tour... More

Zip across the ocean from Jaco to Montezuma. Enjoyed false killer whales and scrunching my toes in the sand.

They will pick you up at your hostel in/around Jaco and take you to the shore in Herradura. The guys working were all very nice and helpful, helping everyone keep their luggage dry and carrying the bags onto the boat. It was about a 45-60 minute boat ride through the gulf and it was beautiful!! We saw manta rays jumping... More
