The building was nice and interesting to visit, but there was not much information.
Ticket was bit expensive considering all ( 10$ per person).
All together I would recommend visiting this old theatre.

They're closed for over a week since I've been here. Nothing on the schedule; nothing advertised. The kiosk in front of the building in the plaza is advertising the schedule from 2018 and this is 2019.
I had a guided tour which I enjoyed, it was interesting and the guide presented details about the history of the theatre, the construction and interior. I think it was one of the nicest things I did in my short stay in San Jose.
So, the coffee planters wanted some high class entertainment and got the government (workers) to pay for it.
