They were renovating. I was warned and should have listened. There was basically no pre Colombian gold, just a bank not exhibit. Honestly pretty lame. There was some history to be learned but that was not the main purpose. Just don’t until renovation is done.

I rented a car when we were in San Jose...but Uber is perfect. There are many parking lots around the museum. In fact there is a very close one so that you just have to walk 100m and your there ...everywhere. Very safe... More
