Relax while you walk

We decided to go for a walk since there was not much to do on a Sunday and ended up in this park nearby our hostel. It is very calm and there is cool fountain.

The playground areas are in major need of an overhaul, the trails are asphalt-ish, and much of the grass needs to be replaced. However, it is a great place to watch the locals jog, play soccer and fish. You can buy a coconut, ice cream, soda, or granita from many vendors pushing carts (mostly after 3 when school lets out).... More

The Parque is on the site of where the city's airport was 60 plus years ago. Don't miss the art museum that once was the control tower.

This park has a fairly extensive jogging trail. There are many people out using the park and it has the feel of being in a suburban area of the US. There is a smaller paved track located within the park which is good for timed laps and sprinting. There are plenty of shaded spaces for picnics or relaxing. Paddle boating... More

This Park is like Cenral Park in NY. It is enormous and hosts epic festivals that offer music, performance art, local artisans and food booths.

This park has lots of potential It needs some TLC for sure The park no longer allows cars to enter and use the parking spaces inside the park I'm OK with that because having to pay some guys who does not actually look after your car is just extortion anyway That is no reason to stop maintaining the paths and... This is a large park that previously was an airport. There are many trees of different varieties and they just planted some more.
