Drove though on a way to an activity. Did not have time to stop and hike but the scenery driving through was beautiful.

We made the tough drive up through the Barva entrance. The rangers were helpful and let us borrow their walking sticks. We were the only people in the park as the weather wasn't great. Its a challenging hike and I'm sure the view of the...More

We enjoyed getting close to nature and taking the tram ride. It took -1/2 hours on the ride. Difficult for someone suffering from a bad back, but very beautiful. We also saw the Butterfly Conservatory and the beautiful flowers.

One of our favorite spots in Costa Rica, we began and ended our stay with hikes in this park. Make sure to hike trails on both sides of the freeway.

We took a bus journey from San Jose to our meeting point for the boat trip to our lodge in Tortuguero, and there was so much to see all the way along on the bus.

Very nice flora and fauna but close to the highway so very few birds, in fact we did not see a single bird. Nice walking trails that take about an hour. Trails are on both side of the road with one trail over looking the...More

We crossed Braulio Carrillo on a coach, directed to Tortuguero from SJO, and even seen from a bus window it was still one of my favourites!
