We didn't go here on purpose, really, it was on our way to Dawson City. The day was clear as a bell, air cool and clean, wanderlust popping our veins. And the plan was to spend 10 minutes on a quick drive-thru, just so you...More

Thank you for your review. It is so easy to choose daily destinations when traveling and miss some of the local attractions along the way. We are glad that your "wanderlust" and curiosity took you off the 'highway' and allowed you to discover Chicken Gold...More

Chicken Gold Camp & Outpost is a basic outpost with various souvenirs and snacks. Over by the Dredge they offer Gold Panning to the public for a fee (not sure of the fee). Everything seemed a bit over-priced in my opinion. Parking: yes - free...More

For such a tiny town (only 2-4 permanent year-round residents) this little gem of a store has very good quality artwork and a varied collection that should have something to appeal to anyone. Very nice lady at the counter who didn't mind simply talking to...More

This outpost is one of the only things to do in chicken except get gas. It’s a nice stop after driving from Canada but it’s not a must see, must stop attraction. No bells and whistlesMore

We don't sell gas so not sure if you are talking about our business, but we are glad you enjoyed the stop. We do offer a number of things to do: day excursions to our mining claims to prospect and mine for gold, gold panning...More

This place makes a lot of its town name. The tourist stores are full of chicken themed memorabilia, and while a little bit funny, this place shouldn't be planned for a lot of time spent.More

I am not sure why you chose to post this review to our business as we focus on fine Alaska original art and gifts....not "chicken-themed memorabilia". We also provide recreational gold mining outings, historical tours, a free mining museum, kayak river adventures, wood-fired pizza and...More

Found this to be a fun stop, photo ops everywhere. Kids loved it and did some gold panning. Gift shop had great selection. Quite a good time and we will be stopping again.
